The barn  cottage is a tastefully  restored natural stone building providing cosy, comfortable  self-catering holiday home accommodation. A tranquil river bank setting makes  this an ideal retreat and central base to explore the scenic beauties of Donegal. The accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms, wooden floors and  en-suite facilities (downstairs). The open plan kitchen, dining and living area (upstairs), has a large picture window overlooking Foxhall Wood and has been described by many as "the upside-down house".

This  riverbank setting is enhanced by mature woodland while the views to the front over the river valley are panoramic. This is ideal country for brown trout and salmon fishing, bird watching, horse riding and hill walking.

Letterkenny Shopping

There are several blue flag beaches within 30 minutes driving time while the nearby town of Letterkenny has a variety of shops, a multiplex cinema, leisure centre, 18 hole golf course and theatre.

The upper floor of The Barn contains the living / dining area and kitchen. This strikingly furnished facility also offers compelling views of the surrounding countryside. The living

area has an open fire with ample, comfortable seating and television. The dining area comprises a large dining room table with chairs.

Bedrooms

There are three beautiful, individually decorated rooms two of which have en-suite facilities. The third bedroom has exclusive use of another bathroom with shower. Each of the bedrooms can be easily adapted to be a twin or double bedroom. All three bedrooms are situated on the ground floor.

Booking deposit €200 (non-refundable). with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.  A security deposit of €100 is collected on the day of arrival, towards damages or lost keys and this is fully refundable providing the premises are left as found. Arrival is  5pm. - 7pm. Departure is 10.30 am Alternative  times by prior arrangement only Payment can be made by credit card via pay pal /cheque/ bank transfer, Sterling and Euro accepted. - Linen supplied free of charge - Electricity included - Oil fired central heating included
